Meet Jake Baumgartner, DDS
Dr. Jake Baumgartner was born and raised in Johnston, Iowa. He attended Northwest Missouri State University and later earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. After being an associate and partner in Wisconsin for the last 7 years, he is returning to Kansas City to practice closer to family. He and his wife, Randi, a KC native, are passionate about their twin boys and enjoy the outdoors, family time, getting together with friends, and rooting for the Chiefs and Royals.
Dr. Jake is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he continues to stay current on the latest research through continuing education courses.
Dr. Jake’s goal is to provide quality dentistry by keeping up with the latest technology and techniques for all his patients, and he looks forward to taking care of their dental needs.

Brittnie Grissom
Practice Manager & Front Desk
Brittnie Grissom joined the practice in 2025 and brings experience in both clinical support and front office management. She enjoys working in dentistry because it allows her to help improve patients’ confidence and overall health through their smiles. Her favorite part of her role is building relationships with patients, easing anxiety, and helping each person feel comfortable and understood while ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Outside of the office, Brittnie is a proud boy mom who spends most of her time at football games and wrestling tournaments, cheering on her sons. She also loves attending concerts and is a big fan of Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Jessie Murph, and Brantley Gilbert. Born in Las Vegas and raised in Kansas City, she still has a heart that belongs to Boston.
Lauren Clark, RDH
Lead Dental Hygienist
Lauren Clark, RDH, is the lead dental hygienist and joined the practice when it opened in 2025. She holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies with an emphasis in science and an associate degree in dental hygiene, and she is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Lauren is passionate about clinical dental hygiene and especially enjoys educating patients and helping them improve their oral health while meeting them where they are. Her favorite part of working with patients is learning their stories and building meaningful connections. She believes even small interactions can make a big difference in someone’s day and takes pride in helping patients feel encouraged and confident in their smiles. Outside of work, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, playing pickleball and yard games, and spending time with family and friends.
